The Huskies announced a series today with Illinois for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. They had already previously announced a series with Wisconsin for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, meaning a couple of games within driving distance of my home over the next eight years. We throw a good party when the Huskies are in this neck of the woods, and everyone's invited, baby!

I might have to...
trip to LSU and trip to Illinois. Chicago and New Orleans would be two places I would love to see.
it's not you john
it’s your deep fried turkey.

We had some Tyee bigwigs who were on the team plane pop by but not Woody. you would think a cajun boy couldn’t resist a fried turkey.

Illinois? I'm There!
As long as you’re making that ham again! As they say, “when the cat’s away…”

The ham seemed to be the big hit.
The turkey is good…but turkey is turkey.

I will go to Nebraska, LSU, Illinois, Colorado, Hawaii, and Wisconsin for sure.
I have a great friend who lives in Omaha…we have always wanted to go to New Orleans…we have plenty of relatives to see in Denver…Hawaii is a no brainer because we go there every year anyway…Wisconsin and Illinois are a little over two hours from where I live.
The only way you make it better is to throw in a home and away with Northwestern…now that would be a party!
Wow. I’m glad you get to attend so many games in the future. You deserve it. I figure it’s good karma for your devotion to the Huskies. :)
We can always attend but seldom get to host...
We go to our share out in Seattle and on the road but when a game is close to Chicago we can host folks and have a tailgate party which is special. Illinois and Wisconsin will give us that opportunity.

LSU for sure
My wife’s older sister lives in Baker, LA, not too far from Baton Rouge.
We’re thinking Wisconsin too, depending on health issues
Health issues
Seriously…we are both going to considerably older when that game is played. I am thinking if you are not in “depends” at that time we can count on you.
Depends
Who though up the name for that product anyway…what does it really mean?
It “depends” if I am more comfortable pooping in my pants or make my way to the bathroom?
Did I have to go there?
COPD
The wife has it, that is the health issue that concerns me. My side of the family usually gets into their 80’s, I’ll be 68 next month
Great Scheduling
Great scheduling, respectacle opponents, but (from what we know now about those teams) winnable games if we keep progressing. Turner was never bright enough to figure out that the run the gaunlet in the Pac 10 with 7-8 tough games just on the Pac 10. It is about time we got out of beating ourselves up in the out of conference, but also getting wins is still respectacle.
Turner wasn't football bright
Winning football games was never a priority for him.
