Heading into the city to enjoy the Dawgs victory with more Philly Dawg fans! Bark loud Dawgs!!!

yeah...but in fairness

that was on the Guard first…Pac-10 officiating has to go to hell at some point…why not the 2nd series

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 12:58 PM PDT up reply actions

Polk!!!

I think I just pooped your pants...

by FizzleDrip on Oct 24, 2009 12:57 PM PDT reply actions

nice play by the ref..

he’s they’re best defender in the secondary

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 12:59 PM PDT reply actions

bad decision...

should have followed the blocker

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:00 PM PDT reply actions

A Pick Six

will suffice right about now

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:04 PM PDT reply actions

I think if Oregon

ran a straight forward offense that I wouldn’t hate them so much.

Spread option and trick plays reeks of Busch League to me

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:07 PM PDT reply actions

Big hit by Fellner...

Frosh are going to work this year

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:08 PM PDT reply actions

if the play of the true frosh

isn’t sign enough that we’re in for a big turnaround, I don’t know what is.

Sarks last place (in the conference) haul of recruits last year is out performing most of the other upperclassmen in the Pac.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:11 PM PDT up reply actions

that slip looked nasty...

think that the S&C program (including flexability) doesn’t have any effect on the game think again.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:14 PM PDT reply actions

Our O-line is not perfroming today

they’ll need to step up for us to win this

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:16 PM PDT reply actions

POLK

Polk is a man among infants

by AllEyezOnMe on Oct 24, 2009 1:22 PM PDT reply actions

Wow, he runs like AP

I think I just pooped your pants...

by FizzleDrip on Oct 24, 2009 1:22 PM PDT reply actions

It's offical

CP is the best player in the history of organized football

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:22 PM PDT reply actions

organized sport

I think I just pooped your pants...

by FizzleDrip on Oct 24, 2009 1:23 PM PDT up reply actions

you're right...

CP is the best human ever to live…he’s like Ghandi x 1000

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:24 PM PDT up reply actions

CP just put the team on his back

and carried it 50 yards to change the momentum right back

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:23 PM PDT reply actions

Our WR's have been huge this year

Jake should cut them all a check when he gets his big NFL contract

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:25 PM PDT reply actions

That one falls on Jake

I like the call to go for it, we’re not gonna win by kicking FG’s

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:28 PM PDT reply actions

Tuck and run....

if he doens’t make it they end up on the 2. Instead he floats one to an inelgible Boyce and he gives them 18 free yards.

I like the call, play action to the endzone against this explosive of a team was the right call in my opinion. It was poor protection and poor decesion making.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:30 PM PDT up reply actions

me too!

although, I would have rather him used it at Norte Dame where the field was slop and we couldn’t get a push. Here I think we could have ran the same set of plays we used over there and gotten in for 6.

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 2:06 PM PDT up reply actions

Ah, but if you'll remember, we did use it at Notre Dame.

And it worked, it gave us our first touchdown. We haven’t run it since.

by thecassino on Oct 24, 2009 2:16 PM PDT up reply actions

um hold?

I think I just pooped your pants...

by FizzleDrip on Oct 24, 2009 1:33 PM PDT reply actions

Masoli at 100% buys enough time to get rid of it

same with the sack ending the last drive. He looks tenative.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:34 PM PDT reply actions

wow...

that kicker is slow…and our defense couldn’t catch him

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 1:37 PM PDT reply actions

That was the backup QB

just sayin…

May we hand you your taints on a silver platter...

by 071903 on Oct 24, 2009 7:47 PM PDT up reply actions

almost a pick six

the one thing that hasnt gone right for the ducks

by AllEyezOnMe on Oct 24, 2009 1:44 PM PDT reply actions

Why is Sark so bad at managing the clock?

Why run so that there’s not enough time to move the ball after you pick up some yards? I dont get it.

by thecassino on Oct 24, 2009 1:52 PM PDT reply actions

OL PSA's

I hope the visiting PSA OL guys see that they are needed badly, BADLY.

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 1:59 PM PDT reply actions

Some momentum at the half

Idaho just broke a big run to bring the game back to within 7 against a 15 point favorite Nevada if anyone cares

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:02 PM PDT reply actions

You can bet on sports there

its neat

I think I just pooped your pants...

by FizzleDrip on Oct 24, 2009 2:06 PM PDT up reply actions

In fact...

you can bet against Nevada…irony at it’s finest.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:12 PM PDT up reply actions

special teams

Kinda knew our special teams might be a bit weak when we started the season. Need a deeper roster for ST’s to have good players. Next year we will be better there. But we need to do it today. We need bigsecond half to define the rest of the season.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 2:08 PM PDT reply actions

Nevada fumbled on the goal line

refs didn’t review….

then they go for it on 4th down at the 1…and I think the RB’s knee was down…but again no review.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:15 PM PDT reply actions

Colin Kaapernick for Nevada is an intriging player

Watched way too much of him when I lived down in Reno. He either wins the game for them or loses it but no doubt he is talented. Hes a hero to the locals…..kinda funny

Go Ducks!

by NVDuck on Oct 24, 2009 2:20 PM PDT up reply actions

special teams

Mahan and Folk are a studs. Just need the other guys to be as good. Stop the mental lapses, better coverage, better run backs.

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 2:19 PM PDT reply actions

We need a great third quarter

We actually dominated the stats in the first half. 195 to 141 yards.

by John Berkowitz on Oct 24, 2009 2:23 PM PDT reply actions

wow...

our defense leaks like the Howard Hanson Dam…same exact play too

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:28 PM PDT reply actions

they need to let Locker loose

QB draws, deep balls…whatever it takes. We need a quick strike here.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:33 PM PDT reply actions

CHEAP SHOT!

Aguilar’s knee might be done

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:34 PM PDT reply actions

WOW!

Loving how our WR have emerged this year. Only Soph’s too!!

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 2:37 PM PDT reply actions

Locker

Locker loves to throw pick in the red zone

by AllEyezOnMe on Oct 24, 2009 2:43 PM PDT reply actions

Only thing slowing them down right now

Is their penalties!

We need to figure something out. Sooner rather than later.

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 2:48 PM PDT reply actions

Terrible coverage...

Our passing game and CP are the only bright spots in this game

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:52 PM PDT reply actions

Bright, for the future, but not enough to win

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 2:55 PM PDT reply actions

wow...

I’m about to turn it off

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:55 PM PDT reply actions

ugh

we really needed to give our D a rest there too. Horrible time for a turnover.

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 2:57 PM PDT reply actions

Beautiful....

Oregon is really well prepared. First time this year we have been thoroughly smoked in all phases of the game. Their special teams are very good and very creative. Defensively, they are taking advantage of a very weak OL. The offense is well oiled. And we are being out coached decisively. Bummer. This game is also showing the big talent discrepancy. We have a long way to go to be at their level.

by OlyDawgFan on Oct 24, 2009 2:57 PM PDT reply actions

way to follow that up with a good stop

this could still be a game if anyone could execute

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 2:57 PM PDT reply actions

So I've come to some conclusions...

1. The Huskies have some talent, especially at QB, WR, and RB.
2. Locker is really good.
3. The defense sucks and needs a talent infusion.

by lailaihei on Oct 24, 2009 2:58 PM PDT reply actions

conclusions

1. Locker needs another year in college
2. We need 5 to 10 new OL
3. We need to learn how to defend, especially the spread
4. DL sucks except for 2 or 3 plays a game
5. I HATE THESE ANNOUNCERS

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 3:01 PM PDT up reply actions

lookin good dawgs

that 6 point win is on track.

by duckyou on Oct 24, 2009 2:59 PM PDT reply actions

UW Offense Is Worst Enemy of Dawg Defense

Locker looks unsure and unfocused, the lack of UW points production is pathetic, and repeatedly putting UW D up against an offensive firing squad. If Dawgs don`t stop bleeding this could be worst beating in a very long time.

by 206 on Oct 24, 2009 3:00 PM PDT via mobile reply actions

just as classy

as the dawgs in the 90’s

by duckyou on Oct 24, 2009 3:01 PM PDT reply actions

Aren't you guys the ones

who tell us to live in the present?

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:03 PM PDT up reply actions

exactly

so if you’re going to talk shit for a decade expect some in return..

by duckyou on Oct 24, 2009 3:04 PM PDT up reply actions

would you expect anything less

from someone who goes by ‘duckyou’?

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 3:08 PM PDT up reply actions

no...

but I would expect as a human being that I’m assuming is not from the deep south, that they would have an ounce of class and/or logic.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:12 PM PDT up reply actions

no offense to those reasonable people in the deep south btw...

a few (hundred thousand) bad apples make you all the but of my jokes.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:12 PM PDT up reply actions

Stop beating up on your own team.

Look we’re good, really good, but saying you suck takes from what you’ve done so far this year.

Plus it doesn’t say how good we are…. and that’s really good!

by DamienS on Oct 24, 2009 3:05 PM PDT reply actions

Today we're really bad...

your D has impressed me. Other facets not so much, you’ve got a good team, but right now you’re overrated at #11. We don’t have the horses to keep up with the spread option.

Your team is flat out better today, but I would call this a matchup blowout more than a “Oregon is going to the NC game!!!! OMG!!!” blowout.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:11 PM PDT up reply actions

Today we’re really bad…

--AddictedToQuack, SBNation's Oregon Ducks blog

by jtlight on Oct 24, 2009 6:22 PM PDT up reply actions

No...

just today…you don’t beat USC, a revamped Arizona and outplay LSU if your really bad.

Today our O-Line, Defense and ST were abysmal. All three of those have been hit or miss this year and today was a huge miss.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 7:05 PM PDT up reply actions

Watching U$C-OS

The Beavs hang 29 on them at the time I am typing this, makes me less concerned. Our D is pretty good and with a good offensive game plan I think we should be able to stay with them and stand a good shot at winning, especially at Autzen.

None of what I say really matters, but we will know in a week.

May we hand you your taints on a silver platter...

by 071903 on Oct 24, 2009 8:20 PM PDT up reply actions

Not a fan of that safety(?)

#20. Playing after the whistle two consecutive plays.

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 3:16 PM PDT reply actions

going for 2 with our OL? Oh my. Lucky the zero’s make so many penalties

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 3:16 PM PDT reply actions

Give credit where credit is due

Kelly did a great job today and a fantastic job all season overcoming some serious challenges.

by John Berkowitz on Oct 24, 2009 11:07 PM PDT up reply actions

Thanks Berk.

I’m on my iTouch so I won’t go into detail tonight but it was a beautiful day on Montlake. The old time Husky fans were unexpectedly courteous to me today. Right on, if you were per chance one of them.

Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Six-hundred and ninety-four yards of total offense.

by qrsouther on Oct 24, 2009 11:23 PM PDT up reply actions

Onside kick?

not like we have anything to lose

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:17 PM PDT reply actions

Think we are learning that we can’t win with 1 good QB and a couple of good receivers. We need an OL. Like back in the day when we embarrassed oregon everytime they came here

by thedesertdog on Oct 24, 2009 3:18 PM PDT reply actions

Well...

I think I’m gonna call it a day, I got alot of booze to drink. Hopefully another UA miracle will go down when I’m gone. Have a good weekend all.

by B Money on Oct 24, 2009 3:24 PM PDT reply actions

Sark in Locker`s head too much

Locker is fighting his running instincts. He passed up a running td in 1st half and just now on the 2pt conversion. Locker should be running into score at least twice per game. Masoli is playing fast and loose and Sark needs to turn Locker loose the same way.

by 206 on Oct 24, 2009 3:27 PM PDT via mobile reply actions

EVERY QB WE HAVE FACED IS SUPERIOR TO LOCKER

The Huskies don’t even look like they have practiced together. Locker sucks, special teams suck, offensive line sucks, defense is the worst…………..only Polk looks good.

by Norm0262 on Oct 24, 2009 3:32 PM PDT reply actions

Jeez Norm.

Be realistic. Get yourself a drink and chill out a tad.

by Bamer_ on Oct 24, 2009 3:38 PM PDT up reply actions

Norm

Locker was terrible today. you really can’t put a finger on it but a lot of it is upstairs…he doesn’t make good decisions.

by John Berkowitz on Oct 24, 2009 4:00 PM PDT reply actions

That’s what happens to him when he’s under pressure 24/7. He looked scared by the 3rd quarter.

--AddictedToQuack, SBNation's Oregon Ducks blog

by jtlight on Oct 24, 2009 6:23 PM PDT up reply actions

I have seen him under more pressure

Nothing against the Oregon D…they were great…but something is really isn’t clicking for Jake right now…he could be injured.
