We continue our theme for this week...
Former Duck QB Danny O'Neil (no relation to Ryan, Redmond, or Tatum) thinks Oregon is looking ahead to USC rather than focusing on Washington. (According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times)
"My mind says the USC game is the season-changer, from a good season to a great one," says O’Neil, looking ahead like so many others to next week. "But if the Oregon Ducks agree with me, they’ll lose at Washington."
ESPN.com's Ted Miller, a day after saying the Huskies won't make a bowl game this year, picks the Huskies to beat Oregon Saturday, 30-27. Miller also says it's going to be "nasty fun'' at Husky Stadium Saturday.
This week's upset special! Plenty of reasons why it could happen, from Ducks quarterback Jeremiah Masoli's questionable knee, to the Huskies' renewed fire, to Oregon looking ahead to USC. But I've just got a hunch. (And, yes, this prediction is inconsistent with my "Second-half outlook for Oregon. Let's just call this one a feverish vision.)
Thanks to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times for digging up these tasty tid bits!
This is one of the more humerous stories of the week. Some wealthy UW alumni in Portland pulled this one off with a little donation. If you are in the Portland area send us a photo!
The Willamette Light Brigade plans to light the Morrison Bridge in downtown Portland in Purple and Gold this week. Ironic/angering timing considering the UW UO football game this weekend. Even as a diehard 3rd generation Beaver alumni this frustrates me. I can’t remember any OSU or UO heritage weeks recently? And to do that while 20000 duck fans drive by each day? I already emailed the contact at their website encouraging them to prepare for some serious flack from Duck/Pac10 Fans.

Lunch rush out in Oregon
Not a lot of posting going on at lunch hour because all the drive thru’s are busy. You can’t type and supersize at the same time!
It was taken from condotta's blog in the Seattle Times word for word
Just posting and pasting what we are seeing.
I read Condotta...
and then the article and then said, “Condotta likes to stir the pot, a la Canzano.”
LOVIN' IT!!! ALL OF IT!!!
GO DAWGS!!
Washington Husky Football-Undefeated 1991 National Champions 12-0!
OR DUCKS SUCK!!...
…you could’ve gone with either or ? But after that fan post of “Huck the Fuskies” which wazzu coined (apparently the ducks can’t come up with anything original) by the way. Well you know what they say, “Paybacks are a Beeooottttttttccccccccchhhhhhh!!!”
Washington Husky Football-Undefeated 1991 National Champions 12-0!

Well...
They realize they can buy all they want from Husky fans at the stadium so they don’t have to sit in crummy end zone seats. Believe me…there will be plenty of Duck fans at the game.
