Chris Dufresne of The Los Angeles Times writes about the legendary series, I especially like the fact that he points to Coach Don James only losing 3 times to the Ducks 17 years. Not a typo.

I read that piece in John's "Puppy Chow"

The part about the necrophilic ducks. Wow!

Now. . . .I’ve been to Autzen, that place is a hell hole. And not even in “South Central” (it’s really called Jefferson Park, the neighborhood where the LA Coliseum is located is seeing a major renovation/gentrification of old Craftsman Homes- back in the ’90’s it was downtrodden, hence- the bruin-generalization that we’ve got thugs attending my alma mater in a crack-neighborhood is so far off the mark) have I ever been accosted or has my property been compromised. In Eugene, at Autzen in specific- I got into 2 fistfights- one after another and on the morning before my flight leaving Eugene- my rental car was broken into and stuff stolen out it. Including the air-bags to the car. It was a wreck.

Give ’em HELL Huskies! Beat the Ducks!

Go Dawgs!
WOOF!

Bix

I hope you put an ass whoopin’ on those guys! Hugh Millen said he got into a physical altercation with a duck/ducks fan in the bathroom at the Eugene Airport. I don’t think it lasted too long Hugh is a pretty big dude. He said he just slammed the guy up against the wall and that ended it.

I was close...

…to getting into a fight in 2007. This duck clown was walking straight at me like he was going to knock me down. I just kept walking and gave him a little bump at the end. He was like freakin’ out and said “hey what was that?” and I just replied in kind and fortunately that’s all that happened but I toned it down for this last game. I didn’t witness anything nasty at this last game, though I wouldn’t be surprised if others had some stories to tell. I’ll never go back to Autzen again, the last game I went to was 1994 and we didn’t have any problems but I think it’s become too nutty down there in the last few years.

WE GOT OUR ASSES KICKED!

Nothing else to add. They just out played, out schemed, out hustled, out did us in every facet of the game. Good luck to the Ducks the remainder of the year. They are a freakass juggernaut. I went to the game. At LAX I got my bags “orange taped” meaning: I had to have security go over each and every item. I even had my own separate room with 3 security dogs talking to me about each and every item. (let it be known: my costume was/is an Osama Bin Laden costume, replete with “accessories” IT WAS HELL!)

I ended up renting a tux at Mr. Formal in Eugene and with my “Miss Right Now” we went as a “Victor/Victoria” get up. And we made sure to make out each and every time we could. My Osama get up? I agreed to just trash it there at the airport. FWIW: It only cost me less that $25 to put together prior to completion.

Eugene was BAD on all fronts for me and the Trojans!
