All Time Husky Football Team - DT
You guys chose Larry Tripplett and Stafford Mays. Pretty good choices if you ask me even though I would have passed on Tripp and gave my vote to Charles Jackson. Tripp would have made my top three.
Who are the Best Defensive Tackles in Washington History?
Now we move on to an even more celebrated category.
This one should be pretty interesting considering you have such studs as Reggie Rogers, Ron Holmes, Steve Emtman, and Doug Martin among the choices to choose from.
Vote for your four favorite and remember the polls close in 24 hours!

Emtman and Holmes
I wish I could also vote for Doug Martin, but these what these two beasts accomplished speaks for themselves. Anyone who votes for Farr has simply been watching too much Fox Sports and wasn’t around to watch him play, or did see him play but was too young to remember Holmes or Martin. Reggie Rogers? He was the king of going hard for two plays and making a sack or a tackle for loss, then taking the next three plays off.

You are supposed to Vote for Four
Holmes, Martin, Brown, and Emtman were my picks.

Exactly the same 4 I picked. Emtman is obvious and should be on everyone’s ballot. Holmes is nearly as obvious (interesting to remember he was a LB in H.S.). Doug Martin was a major stud on the early DJ team. Brown was one of (if not the) first early enrollees at the UW and was a starter right from the get-go (and one of DJ’s biggest recruiting wins in the state of California).
Only need one vote.
Emtman is far and away the best DT Washington has ever, and will ever see. Every current and future Husky needs to take a course from Emtman in “Football Mentality 101.”
Given we already voted for a NG, I just can’t vote for any other DT’s.
