Grymes headed to Idaho
CB Aaron Grymes from West Seattle HS has decomitted from Washington and will attend Idaho instead. Grymes says the new staff wanted him to greyshirt because of a knee injury he suffered his senior year. Grymes on the other hand didn't want to delay his enrollment till January.
"I felt like [new UW coach Steve] Sarkisian wanted to bring in his own commits that he wanted to play with, and I can respect that that's what he wants to do. But I just told him it wasn't going to work out with me and I wanted to go somewhere I could play."
Washington now has 14 solid commitments going into the final recruiting weekend of the season.

Not going to lose any sleep over this.
I wish him the best where ever he goes.
Grymes
He did well in camp and received an offer.
He didn’t have an exceptional senior season and I think the review of that film is what did him in. The torn meniscus obviously hurt him.

What just happened?!?!?!
There was just an article about Dawgman vs. Realdawg and now it’s gone! What the heck happened?!?! Does David Blaine run this site….?
I suspect
John decided not to get in the middle of the mess without wearing barn boots.
I tried to post a reply on the thread but couldn’t. I don’t blame John, at all, for not wanting to get in a war with the psycho. She doesn’t /won’t let people be neutural.
I believe the Grinolds DM.c version waaaaay before I’ll believe anything she says.

It was funny last night after bowling
It made me laugh last night when I saw it after bowling. It just happened to be $3 Martini night at the Alley. This morning I looked at it and decided that it didn’t need to be up here all day.
Jack hits the nail on the head with his post.
This is all part of the comedy that always goes on during the last couple weeks of the UW recruiting season. Some people report the story and otheres like to make themselves part of the story.

thanks for not wading into the middle of it ...
…. it doesn’t seem to be consistent with your mission of providing a forum for intelligent discussion on UW athletics.
"Greed is Good."
So is Rudy.
Mission
The mission is all things Husky Sports.
This stuff is on the peripheral and has some history.
So it is worthy of passing along but not worthy of a permanent post.

Recruiting Boyd

really great article that Bob C put on his blog about the recruitment of Boyd and teammate Purvis. Sounds like they might take Purvis to get Boyd and it might give them an in with Beck as well. Good article.
Boyd
I think the Huskies have a real good shot at getting Boyd but when you go up against USC it is tough sledding.
