Backtalk
Every week I visit Nathan Ware over at his Seattle PI Original Dawg Blawg for a little Husky Football Q&A.
John: BYU is up next. Do you think they will go with 8-9 men in the box on defense like Oregon?
Nathan: I'm sure that everyone will until UW can prove that they can beat it. Although, I don't think BYU's defense is anywhere near as good as Oregon's defense. In the end, I think we're going to find out that Oregon is a pretty good team and many of our opponents won't be able to replicate what they did. I am strangely optimistic about this BYU game with special emphasis on strange. I think our boys were embarrassed on Saturday and I just have this gut feeling that they will respond in a positive way. We'll see.

2006 BSU, 2007 Hawaii, or 2008 BYU?
Which MWC BCS Buster has been the most legitimately good over the past three seasons? I think Hawaii was nowhere near a top 25 team but Boise State had serious chops. Where do you think the current BYU team ranks?
Our leather lungs together...
Good Question
I think the 2006 Boise State tem was the best. You beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl and you get my vote.
I am not convinced that BYU is the BCS buster for 2008. Utah looked pretty good beating Michigan on the road last week.
Hawaii was way over rated. I can’t believe Washington lost to them last year. If the 2007 Hawaii team played in the Pac Ten they would have finished near the bottom.
