The Duch
Without a doubt, I think everyone can agree that the Duchess is the greatest of all Husky bars! It may not be on the Ave, but that doesn’t stop college kids and alumni from flocking there.
this is great...
this is great info because i will be going to my first game in years and now that i am of drinking age…its been awhile since i have been to a game since i dont live in Seattle…i am taking all of these places down in memory. Keep them coming…
Seattle Examiner
The Seattle Examiner asked me to a do an article on places Husky fans go before and after the game. I have the article already written for release on October 1st.
This post gives everyone a shot at chining in. For example Art goes to Schick Shaedel after the game.
Tailgate or home
No Bars. We tailgate with BigTDawg and the Dawgman crew at home games and either stay home or Ocean Shores for the away games. We have been going to one away game for the last few years. We do a home and home with one of my cousins for the away A[[le Cup. This year we’re headed to Tucson via the Grand Canyon for our away game. I flew over Grand Canyon many times while we lived in LA and I was in Field Service.
My favorite Husky bar?
Hakim Akbar.
Thanks, I’ll be here all night.
Are you serious?
I can’t believe that there is only one legitimate answer here. The Dutch is a great Husky bar for pre & post Husky games. The Ram is pretty good too. I’d also add The Attic as another classic. Those are all good game-day bars, but that really was not the question. The best Husky Bars are: (in no particular order) The Irish Immigrant, The All American, Earl’s, Dante’s, The Ram, & The Dutch.
All American
The All American closed down about three years ago. Earls moved into where it used to be, as the old Earls is now condo construction.
Northlake Tavern
Not a party atmosphere but you can’t beat their pizza.
Knarrrrr!
Knarr Tavern.
aka the Knar Bar.
Can’t beat the dogs running around and the shuffleboard.
