Major Applewhite

Applewhite is my nominee for Dawg Head Coach.  He appears to be a Football Guru. He might be 30 yo and is the offensive coordinator at Texas.  They seem to be offensive capable.  He revitalized Rice and turned down eithe the Iowa or Iowa State job.  The good news for us, is that with Muschamp, Texas Defensive Coord identified as the "Coach In Waiting" pending Mack's retirement, now would be a good time to approach Major.

He is the RB coach and assistant head coach

and probably a little too young to be a head coach for a major program like UW.

Major Program

I would like to retract my statement of UW being a major program. They couldn’t beat WSU at their worst, there are no excuses. (And I would like to apologize in advance, but if they hire D. Fran, I am a future cougar fan).

I think Owens was 27

I think Jim Owens was 27 when he took over.

Applewhite

I would take a long look at Applewhite because he is going to be force in college football one of these days.
