Gary Pinkel gets a big raise and an extension

It looks like Gary Pinkel isn't going anywhere because Missouri is rewarding him with a big raise and extension.

Missouri and its football coach, Gary Pinkel, have agreed in principle to a lucrative contract extension that will make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the country, according to sources.

"Basically, he'll be able to end his career at Missouri," a source close to the situation said.

The length of the deal is not known, but the extension will include a sizable raise for an annual salary of approximately $2.5 million.

Glad to hear

I’m glad to hear things are going well for Pinkel. He put in the hard work and can enjoy finishing his career at Missouri. Just goes to show you what could have been had Hedges hired Pinkel instead of Neuheisel.

Good for Coach Pinkel

Alas, if we could only rewind back to 10 years ago when he and Tormey were finalists.
